When it comes to nutrition it is never black or white. What works for one will not always work for another. Here are my top pointers and opinions when it comes to nutrition.
- Fad Diets or quick fixes are exactly that. They are hard to maintain and generally lead to gaining more weight after the diet is over, or when you lose interest. They will more than likely deprive you of the things you want. You are human, if you want somenthing you cannot have, what happens??? You will end up overindulging in it.
- Nutrition = 80% Training = 20% the formula to a better body
- Call it a Lifestyle Change not a Diet. If you want results it will take time and little changes that are managable will longterm show reults.
- It is healthy to get a balance never deprive yourself of what you enjoy. Enjoy one day where you indulge in your favorite food, (though be careful with portions), when you do not deprive yourself you are more likely to suceed.
- Think of choosing food that has had the least contact with mankind. Swap whites for browns, drink more water, and get movong a little more. This may sound very simple.... It is.... but believe it or not people do not do this.
